Where is the irrigation system in Everdream Valley?
Irrigation System is unlocked when the Drought sets in on the farm.
- *Locate the water pump.
- *Find the turbine (electric motor is what this point really means, the turbine is the actual windmill on the farm by the pond).
- *Get sprinklers.
- *Get a garden hose.
- *Get electrical wiring.
- *Connect the parts of the irrigation system together.

This is an optional quest, but is very helpful in automating watering your crops even after the Drought ends. Especially if you want to build a large farm. (And it is the precursor to the Treehouse quest.)
The first thing you will notice is that all of these items are available at the Merchant. However, his prices are ridiculous! you can do two things about this;
Option 1: Talk to Grandpa and the merchant to get the Side Quest Catch Butterflies For The Merchant to lower the Merchant’s prices. They’ll still be pretty pricey for this point in the game, though!
Option 2: Find all of the items for free around the map. Electrical Wiring & Garden Hose are the easiest items to find right around the farm and the cheapest items at the Merchant if you need more.
You can find the Water Pump in the abandoned building on the Western Island where you found the Goat and the Sad Alpaca.
You can find the Electric Motor in the abandoned building on the northside of the Northwest Island.
You can find 5 sprinklers in one of the abandoned buildings to the northeast of the goose village on the South Island.
Once you have all the parts from finding them for free or buying them, now you can place the irrigation system on your farm. Start by fixing the turbine by the pond with the electric motor. Now, place the water pump near the pond. Connect the Water Pump and the Turbine with the electrical cable.
Now, go place your Sprinklers wherever you like. Do note, they need at least one crop space (if you place it veeeeery carefully, but usually you’ll need one entire plot (4 spaces)) and will water the blocks around them in a 2-space radius. Once those are placed, you can now connect the sprinklers to each other in a chain and the last sprinkler will need to be connected back to the water pump.
Once you’ve connected everything, the quest will complete. Additional turbines will then be available from the Merchant. Then you just need to sleep to advance to the next quest.

It looks like a fun game but it reminds me of my time at portia and summer in mara. Those games were never properly finished and were buggy af. Im gonna wait a couple of years to see how this game does.

I got it on ps5 and I’m not even a farm sym guy at all. Although this one is really addictive and I’m not sure why. Because I’m a children’s book illustrator I bought it for the visual atmosphere and to my surprise I’m really enjoying this game more than I thought. Im 53 years old, I’ve been illustrating this type of illustration for 30 years now and actually I didn’t even thought about this game as childish until you mentioned it. It didn’t felt like that to me. It’s simple at times , it’s not exactly no man’s sky complexity but it’s simplicity is what makes it strong in my view.
As one of those zen games, I think this must be one of my favorites on PlayStation since I played Flower on ps4. Overall I’m really happy with this purchase and if I had to value it I would easily gave it an 8 out of 10 for me personally. I was not expecting more than the gameplay gives me and I like the variety, so I do not regret buying it at all. It totally draws me into its own world and as a relaxing game I love it. The small task order “glitches” or graphic “glitches” don’t bother me but I’m sure updates will fix that.

It’s not a boring game. It’s a lot of fun, though I do wish there was some voice acting or limited at least.
I was tempted but now I think it's a pass for me. The colours are a bit gaudy for me (possibly adding to the childish feel you mentioned) and a few people have said it feels a bit superficial. With so many farming sims to choose from, I think im going to save my monies for It's a Wonderful Life this month.

wait did you say sim? sim is usually realistic.. the way thos animals look and basic harvesting looks arcade to me
do you know the difference between a sim and a arcade game?
very simple go play farming simulator then you know what a sim game is.
i remember farm together i had all animals and flowers maxed out so 1 helper could harvest all.. and the game could not even handle it.. not the best looking farm, but best to earn fast.
seeing these cows if i put 100 my screen is full and yeah that's me.. i keep on adding untill the game goes in slowmotion

This game is hilarious because I'm so horrible at it. I'm on day 3 and I have caught one chicken.
I have been really enjoying he game. The downs of the game are not enough to put me off. There is so much to do and different mechanics from most of the farming/life sim games.
I kinda hate the camera movement. It feels wrong even after adjusting invert X/Y. I'm on switch. And camera feels goofy..

My kids have a game yesterday(It's a money off 😂). We just want to try out,😂 The games in the background look lovely, I like colour on the trees and have a very bigger landscape, I have tried to help my kids to do some cooking I find it hard & to take wool from sheep 😅😂 I even lost a smoke to use for a bee after get kill by wolf? No idea how lot that item 😅 ( so we stop play and wait for in good moods to start over again 😭😂😂) can be fun game, if anyone feeling lonely is game might not good for you because only you / grandma/ granddad/ the weird guys sell item, this game have only 3 NPC ? I like farming games that have more NPC to talking to not feel lonely 😅, by the way have a farm games that can farms / fighting call DQB1 & DQB2 was funny and fun building ( Dragon quest builders 1 & 2 👍👍)

I think it's good if someone can enjoy childish things. Being caught up on "being mature" feels ironically more immature. Kids love asserting their "maturity" onto everything.
