Exoprimal is a 2023 multiplayer third-person shooter video game developed and published by Capcom. In the game, the player controls an “exofighter”, an exosuit-equipped soldier, who must complete objectives while fighting hordes of dinosaurs with the goal of defeating the sinister artificial intelligence Leviathan.

Thereâs so many more dinosaurs and neosaurs (mutant dinosaurs) as well as boss fights and special encounters that combine both teams to take on a thousand dinosaurs containing multiple different varieties that do different things including debuffing you, blowing themselves up, sniping you from afar and teleporting away, setting you on fire, turning off your abilities until you stun them by meeting a damage check to a glowing part on its body,tiny rat like ones that grab onto you and slow you down, going invisible and grabbing you to cause damage over time, and a mutant ankylosaurus that has a rock wall floating around it with something akin to a volcano on its back while you have to kill 2 triceratops and a T-Rex all at the same time. But yeah no, if you watch gameplay of the BETA youâve definitely seen everything, clearly. ( Iâm sorry but that comment really personally annoyed me)
went to the comments to address how the game actually has a lot more content than this guy gives it credit for, but glad to see a lot of people are already correcting that this game DOES have a bunch of content. You just gotta play through some hours to start unlocking all of it. It feels like those first few hours is the game getting you used to the scenario, then opens you up to the rest of the game once you've adapted to how things go. End game unlocks a mode called "Savage Gauntlet" which seems to be a time limited mode that changes and is more difficult, allegedly. Not ready yet unfortunately.
The game is good! It looks like you only played one hour and with basic robot soldierâŠ
So it's like Warframe but it's not free, has only one mission type and paid battlepass

I never saw the draw to shooting dinosaurs… this seemed like a hard pass from me, on the premise alone.
Now that Ive seen it, I am positive… positive this is dumb AF
At the very least I respect Capcom for at least attempting to branch out of there comfort ips and give some more unique game ideas a shot, and it seems like they been doing a good job of promoting as Iâve seen it a couple of times from other creators.
Something I noticed thou was when I say it on the PS store for 60 dollars I almost instinctively recoiled thinking why isnât it free to play and Iâve seen that sentiment online from comments too saying that and things likes âif it was F2P..â when literally free 2 play games are one of the primary sources of all these microtransaction in games which we all say we hate but when a game seemingly offers the alternative we say we want back the âpay up frontâ game, we instantly complain about how thatâs to expensive or you would play if it was freeâŠthis type of thing is exactly why game devs can get away with this stuff! Because we donât seem to want the alternative (and Iâm as much to blame as i had this same reaction like a large group of people but hopefully it can change with knowing that and actively work on it )

If it didn't have dinosaurs, it would be pretty cool. With dinosaurs just looks ridiculous đI have no interest in it.
I dont really care for the characters or the story they are easily forgettable but the game itself is amazing
how I wish the enemies were more Kaiju (Pacific Rim) type and not dinosaurs everything else looks cool to be honest. Im gonna try it
I've read (through Steam reviews) that the entire game unlocks very slowly through a long campaign, and that it's basically drip few at a menacingly slow pace? To the point where people just couldn't be bothered to commit to the 20-30 hrs it took to gain access to all the game modes and tools the game has to offer? If so, that's just a horrible strategy imho..
I have missed these kind of games honestly. I am simple, the game is either good or terrible. No preachy 1 to 10 ratings critique ratings that are slowly killing gaming because everyone forgot how to enjoy games instead of chasing scores. No i am using game pase so i lost nothing and i am having fun. If you paid 60 your feels will definitely be different.

Doing this game a disservice with that thumbnail. Its a fun team shooter with pve sprinkled in. Its like what Overwatch PvE should be
I can tell you didn't play more than a few games. You unlock the rest of the game once you level a little bit.
I really donât think this game is very well optimized. Day one the game would not use my full GPU. Now it finally does. But for some reason the fps is all over the place. Iâve messed with settings and tried FSR 2.1. For some reason FSR seems broken. Making the game seem insanely blurry even on quality. Ultra Wide will not work with 3440 x 1440. Yet if I bring it down by one notch it does work?? In general itâs just rough
i bought(Delux edition) it yesterday and played 50 min and got bored becose it had only PVP/PVE/Random and all was same map and same missions. there was no costimization to exosuits beside cosmetics. it felt like overwatch that u play just for EXP at end that progress ur battlepass and lvl rewards with loot boxs. i expected it to have at least exosuit customization like in Anthem and at least some loot/drops that u get from big dinos and can use after the game like different weapons and abilitys/skills. but nope it boring af. i like to be rewarded for the missions i do and able to customize my character in terms of abilities kit and weapons. this progress system is very shitty. i see it will die fast becose it dont have a reason for people to play long term for hundred of hours because it just boring very fast. 60$ for game that u not going to play for long is not worth it. and it not have enough content for 60$ game.
The game develops in an amazing way. As a new player the game (Leviathan) throws some pretty easy stuff at the start. But as you level up, getting new mods and getting stronger, the game starts throwing stronger things! Because why fight something that isnât worthy of your strength? This flow is consistent as you level, introducing more competitive objectives, stronger Dinos, stronger bosses. The only reason some maps or missions are ârepetitiveâ are because the ratio of high levels who have progressed further than the avg masses is significantly less than the lower levels thus matchmaking will put you in âlower levelâ games thus you are playing the âbeginnerâ maps and modes. Overall the game is one of the most enjoyable games that have come out lately.
But wait how about we remake Dino crisis and reboot Lost Planet?

Exoprimal is a game that requires a little bit of time commitment to see content gradually appear and change. You start w 3 rotating maps until about match 30 then you get 4rth for instance.
When you start the game at first it is a mindless hoard but as you progress the game upscaled the difficulty as you play as it ties into the story about the advanced AI. This game is very competitive and requires you to pay attention to cool downs, enemy rotation and choke points.
Unfortunately reviewers will have to put time commitment in, to see the other content unfold.
Also Leviathan talking seems pointless and hes sometimes annoying but actually he does provide tid bits of story and the dialogue does chamge based on your previous match performance
This sounds like a fun game, but it feels like it might be online for a year or two and then get shut down. Let's hope this comment ages like milk.

Dam you didnât have to attack people who like this game so much. You didnât even give it a fair chance before giving up and saying that there is no content. Change the title to âI think exoprimal is very averageâ or something, not âI played exoprimal so you donât have toâkind of weird clickbait because you would actually recommend it to try it on gamepass. Definitely not your best video, that view to like ratio is not looking to not
This concept only works if the two teams are even in skill level; if not this is going to be a one sided roll.
The problem for a game like this that is "meh" you need it to be free or just something lower than 60 USD.
Game is great, you just need to play more matches to unlock more.

Game is definitely worth on gamepass imo. Seeing the changes in gameplay as you level up is quite fun.
