Ultra Sun / Moon is Pokemon Sun / Moon but better and the ending is magnificient, but again its my opinion.
I have finished emerald about 17-20 times, glad to see another enjoyer

I think thats the best tier list for pokemon games yet. Cause i agree with almost 100% of it (Xy and Oras are really good. Finally some appreciation for them)
But i would raise BW to "Very good"
And if this tierlist got any updates, i would put SV in "eh" Tier (because of poor launch, lots of bugs, and… Overall, i don't really like it that much)

Gen 7 is my favorite. I've never understood the hate for sun and moon as well as the ultra games.

XY will always be my fav. It holds a special place in my heart as it was the first and best pokemon game i have played so far

X&Y deserves that recognition!
i agree with everything on the list, except that i loved ultra sun/moon (mainly because of the ultra wormhole which is probably my favorite thing in a pokémon game)

Gen 2 is trash in all forms, gen 1 is also garbage but is better than gen 2 because it can stand on it's own.
GameCube games, those were cool, you could trade Pokémon with ruby red and fire red and get Pokémon on there that you could never get otherwise.
Pokémon XD for the game cube is definitely up there with Arceus
They really need to make a Pokémon game with open world with your friends that looks like Arceus and not cartoonish like Violet or Scarlet

I would put XY a tier below because they are so easy that I get bored so quickly. If they had a "Challenge Mode" like BW2 the spot would be totally deserved.
P.S if you wanna play gen 7 I recommend you to skip SM entirely and just go straight to USUM because they are so much better and they aren't bad games at all.
Pokemon HG and SS need their own tier in my opinion. They had the best out of all that came before. Truly goated

Hey guys so basically I’ve been a big fan of Pokémon of a long time but I kinda stopped playing the games because I got a ps5 and Xbox, if you could give me game recommendations that would be great( I have a switch and 3ds)
Edit I am currently playing let’s go pikachu, Pokémon scarlet, brilliant diamond, legends arceus, Pokémon x and ultra moon. I have finish sword and I’m competing in pokedex. I’m going to start alpha sapphire soon

honestly just recently played black 2 and heartgold. both mid games tbh black 2 was definitely the better of the two. no idea how heartgold is viewed as god tier. there’s no storyline at all. you can go through all the gyms super easily before having to spend ages leveling up to even compete against lance/red. i like pokemon games with an actual storyline, and heartgold couldn’t have had less of one. Black 2 was solid though.
