If you’re trying to do this on supernova you can just leave edgewater.. and items are duped when you exit and come back in. 👍

If you want to dupe stacks,drop the stack on the porch (iv been using weapon mods) save the game, then you pick the stack back up ans save again, exit back to the start,when you load back there will be a stack on the floor and a stack in your inventory. Basically every time you save before picking them up again it updates how many will be on the floor when you come back on.

You can do it even quicker with quick saves and quick loads

If you do something with weight drop the item you want, fast travel, pick the item up, save and then reload. Then the item is right back in front of you with without have to move. This way the weight is irrelevant because you won't have to fast travel other than the 1st time start.

so if i want to dupe different item i just put different item at the porch, and it will spawn that new item i've put?

Hey guys! Just a friendly reminder, this CAN be done on Supernova mode. Kinda. Instead of fast traveling (because you can't except to your ship) you want to do almost the exact same thing, except walk into and out of Edgewater instead of fast traveling. It takes a little longer, but definitely works.

I duped a chimera armor but it happened by accident and have no idea what I did

On PC this is a little different. I was able to get it to work without fast travel. Just stand near the vendor you are going to sell the items to. About a step or two away, so you dont have to walk a long distance while over encumbered. Drop the items, and simply press F5 to quick save and then press F9 to quick load. Then pick the items up, and then press F5, followed by F9 again. Repeat until ready to sale.

Doing this with repair parts, and hacking items you can drop multiples with simple keystrokes. Simply highlight what you want to drop, press X to drop, D for maximum amount and then press E to confirm. After that press F5 and then F9. Once the game reloads, pick up the items, then press F5 and then F9. Rinse and repeat.

There is an upper limit of bypass shunts, 20mil or so. And the retailer will claim they are worthless. But even if you sell them at a fraction of a bit, you still profit. Just remember to leave a pile on the floor when you are ready to sell. That way you have items to use, and don't have to dupe more.

If the console version has a quick save and quick function, it may be worth seeing if this method works there.

Also, the dupe method does not work outside of towns.

Hey heads up. Dont use stacks over 90 or else you get a huge audio glitch that lasts for about an hour after closing out and restarting the game. It will fix but it takes time. Exceeding stacks over 96 will greatly distort audio while stacks over 100 will also cause your game to randomly load. If you run across this make sure you pick up the stack and replace it with a stack of 20 or less and continue on. It will lighten the load for the game while still giving you the duplicates. Even if you travel out and leave for several hours and come back the item will still be there. This works for any droppable item including medical injections. If you are using key cards for chests i suggest dropping the keycard on the porch and eliminating the hassle of searching for more. If you fully upgrade weapons or armor its helpful to duplicate it so you can equip your companionships with more powerful gear.
