I was just about to pull the trigger on Doomsday Hunters. Then I saw this video pop up. Now I don't know which one to get. Anyone able to give me some advice? Co-op is not a deciding factor for me.
I've been kinda burnt out on rougelikes lately after playing a ton of them as side games along big story focused ones, but this game looks incredible. Really considering picking it up

This game is great! Two things they nailed that I usually find to be a burden is the charge time for weapons and the times rewards. Charging weapons is so smooth its just a natural extension of your attacks. And the timed rewards are very reasonable where if you just don't spend all day looking at everything you get rewarded. Runs are quick and satisfying. Highly recommend.

I got these at the start of early access and it was a joy watching it get to the finish line. Such a great game.

I was already interested in getting this based on the vibrant pixel art, but you've tipped me over the edge! I'm also seriously with you about Moonlighter. I wish there were more roguelikes that incorporated a shop or more RPG elements to make succeeding more meaningful; that's one of the reasons that Moonlighter is one of my favorite games. I've been searching like crazy for something that gives me the same feeling!
We were watching this together as a family tonight and I had a thought; is it possible to add to reviews a quick mention if the game has the ability to change the flashes or shaking in the settings to make a game more friendly for anyone with migraines or epilepsy? Ember was so close to me being able to watch the entire review and I only had to close my eyes for the bigger flashes of light. It looks like a great game, and yes others in the family would enjoy it, but if I knew about possible accessibility settings being there prior to buying a game that would be a bonus.

This looks like a lot of fun, I was leaning towards Doomsday Hunters but the co-op aspect has me interested. Does anyone know if you can revive your teammates if they go down?
Looks great but the whole Rouge like genre has me burnt-out and I haven't even played all of the ones I already have. Possibly a pickup down the road.

Co-op is HUGE, adds a lot
Just started playing this with my 7 year old twin boys. Had a blast. Got to the first boss on our third run. The excitement of getting through the preceding mini boss was met with much cheering and high fiving! Didnt think I would have as much fun playing this with my boys but so glad I got it… 🙂 And I only got Doomsday Hunters two days ago… 🙂 Thanks guys for another cracking review.
cereal question for the team. Does it bother you when folks like myself are sold on wanting to play the game based on your intro and first couple minutes….and so we click off to not spoil anything? Hope it doesn't hurt your numbers too much because your content is tops and deserves praise! Cheers!
