Fucking boring ass intro, nothing but cutscenes are lame. Just let me wake up on altar, get out of a cave and do what I want.
Also I fucking hate in video games where they have you win only to lose in cutscenes.

I just finished watching the lord of the rings a couple days ago and Ifrit vs Phoenix in the beginning gives me gandalf and Balrog vibes when they are falling down no shit the same shot where it's a wide shot
This game is gorgeous and reminds me of FF12's days but darker and im all for it.. I'm piqued with interest with your jplaythrough of this game now and upon release. Get it Max! Phoenix and Shiva are stunning to look at. I love the feature that you can pause the game mid–scene and look up any themes or words or idea introduced through conversation to look it up. My very own Wikipedia of sorts well except for things like motor boating lol.
I've played the demo twice now & learn something new every time. Gonna do it once more before the game drops. This is my dream FF game and it's so close.
The demo completely changed my mind and erased all my doubts about this game. At first I wasn't hyped for this. But having tried the demo, made me so annoyed that i have to wait until the 22nd. I want to pulverize all those traitors as soon as possible. And I also want to reunite with Jill again. I want to explore more but since I was pressed for time, I didn't bother exploring in the demo. So I'll definitely make up for it in the full game. I'll restart from the beginning and take my time.
Man, I thought Clive was the second Eikon and that he killed his own brother.
Honestly, if he is in fact ifrit and is the person he is looking for that could make for a good story, however, they have mentioned in some of the trailers about dark eikons which are basically like the corrupted version of the other one, so there could be 2 different ifrits and even if clive ends up being ifrit, it could be the dark version that actually attacked them and is who he is really looking for.
Just a pro-tip for anyone who'll get this, use control scheme type B if you're coming from Elden Ring, otherwise use type C. NEVER use the default type A it's a trap.

i don't get the obsession with 60fps. As long as the frame-rate is steady, i don't notice that i'm seeing 30fps.
I'm calling it. This is game of the year. I played sf6 I absolutely loved it. I'm sure mk1 will be a hitter. But nothing compares to the MUSIC, the DESIGN, CHARACTERS, AND GAMEPLAY I'M CALLING IT. This is GAME OF THE YEAR! 🔥💙💙

It looks like a normal action rpg game. and it's in a medieval story. nothing interesting
Can't wait for the scene where Annabella Rosfield gets stabbed by Clive. She tried to embrace him saying she cared for him and letting him live and all that BS to turn him into what he is, A worthy heir to their noble blood. After Clive was finally accepted by Phoenix power, She tried to manipulate him and showed "Motherly Love" but then Clive had flashbacks of his family, friends and Jill Warwick's death, he then stabbed her with his sword. After that he just became emotionless since he now in fact lost everything. The scene will be great.
I am glad this comes out next week. This will bring me through the summer until Lies of P drops.
The story started perfect so the game we'll be as well they have a chance on this one and finally not a kid ff an mature game
