wait, so the level cap system…
Let's say you decided to go to the max the current gym is and you level up after defeating them, would those have been wasted levels?
I do not like that, I wish they made it so once you reach the level cap, you would only get 1 exp until you raise the level cap. 5 or so wasted level ups can make a size-able difference in the final battles when choosing the hardest mode (which I like to go with)

I got a shiny sandile about 15 minutes in and assumed they had increased shiny odds. Nope. 1/8192 lol
Elite Four are ridiculous hard there. Even on easy difficulty. And this is fukkin bullshit. You can exterminate Gym Leaders from existence without any problem, and then you meet Elite Four, who totally destroy your ass. What the fuck?

Im sorry, do you not know about pokemon crystal clear? Even if heart gold soul silver got an open world version crystal clear would be far superior.
