How did you managed to start this before release?
awful character portraits, what were they thinking?
Thank you so much for showing. The faces look ok, but what's up with the size comparison? Especially in the jungle mission with those huge blades of grass the Wanzers look like tiny toys 🤣
Thanks for uploading this, it's a shame it's not simultaneously launching on PC because some of the dynamic scaling during the battles (in particular the ones in water) is a bit jarring @41:20
so original or remastered soundtrack? I might go old skool
Great!!
thanks for the upload, glad I checked it out before buying ..
I don't like how the music restarts after coming out of every wanzer battle, that didn't happen in the original… makes the audio really repetitive
And what did you say? Good game or something that can be Skipped?
Is this not going to get a physical release?
Love how the wanzer movements now included Dash.
Its supposed to be another side of the conflict you can play where is that
Thanks for the heads up by uploading this! I'm a big fan of the original on the SNES and graphics looks alright and bearable since its built for switch. Except for the wanzer animations which are kinda lackluster. The background interfaces on shop, town, bar etc are good though. I like their ambiance. But I think the only department that really stood out on this is the Sound and Music dept. (that crow squawking is a bit out of place and annoying though) Most of the music are on point it's beautiful! I like how they kept the "Set-up" and "Shop" themes almost identical to the SNES and PS1 version because they are already timeless. The only OST that didn't quite capture the atmosphere is the "Arena" theme. I was expecting they'd revamp it by improving the percussions to war drums and chanting and clapping, giving it a gladiatorial feel but instead they turned it into some sort of techno. It's kinda not good that it lost it's coliseum and gladiatorial feel. Anyway it's still good that we get a remake. will play this tonight.
What time is this supposed to come out in the US?
Its already nov 30th and i cant still play the game.. What is exact time and which timezone will the game be playable.
I wonder if you can still order a laser gun in this game by visiting certain sites.
This is one of the greatest video game soundtracks of all time.
I thought this game was getting a dub?
Front Mission First: Remake mostly takes from the PSX and Nintendo DS ports, on many fronts: Most of the soundtrack sounds as if it comes directly from the PSX version (I do feel bad for DS and Wonderswan Colour players who were expecting those OSTs to come in full too), while both it and the DS port's ability to play the UCS Campaign will come as a welcoming sign for those who were waiting to play this and didn't have either build, something I am quite surprised has yet to be modded into the Super Famicom version; the Sega Ages 2500~style visual direction of it is reminding me heavily of Phantasy Star: Generation 0I & II, as well as the adaptations made for Alien Syndrome, Golden Axe, Space Harrier, Gain Ground, and most of the other entries produced for this series, the Switch version of Front Mission will feel very similar to those who grew up with this particular set of PlayStation 02 remakes and thus this is the mentality that most players must have so that they don't feel like this is a little underwhelming of a remake; it's fortunate too that the English Script is very similar to the Super Famicom Fan Translation and the DS port, many Veteran and Master players will not feel as if much is missing from the core experience even with its visual differences to its Pixel Art counterparts that it is a solid modernization all around. (:
Why is wanzers feels like toys.. The movement felt like it was light and plastic. They should make it like FM4, wanzers feels heavy and when they move, ground was shaking from weight.
Wait, where the hell is the "Thank You" when I buy on the shop?!
the SNES music tracks versions still sound better.
Why are the animations so fast!? It's off putting. They need to make an option for 50% slower
Just like a toy machine fight not front mission 😢
why Front Mission 2089 looks better????? =(
Awesome gameplay as always enjoying the content
Somehow combat looks worse than front mission 3… Wtf?
We need this on PC 🙁
Yet another meh remake from Square Enix, not surprised about it.
Looks and sounds like something my older smartphone could handle.
Can you still eject from current wanzer and steal enemy wanzer when there is no pilot?
Are they doing Front Mission 3 also?
i've only played FM3, i dont think i will enjoy this because it doesnt have fm3 game mechanics. what do you guys think?
I might dust up my switch for this. Are there new features that they added aside from a new game+ ?
looks like ass
okay the music cut in 7:20 is abrupt because as far as i remember there is no music cut in the other games.
Other than that it's pretty old school fun.
How did they manage to make the graphics look worse than the original?
You cannot aim on certain parts of the robot like 30 years ago… So it's no more tactical for me, such a crap
OG fan here, there is a gun that gives crazy amount of exp which you could get in mission 15.
I also need FM 2 and THE ALMIGHTY FM 3 REMADE PLEASE!
Awesome. Hilarious how simple games like this can be way more fun than a AAA game that cost millions to make and flops on release
