I've always wanted a game where you could build your own units. Unfortunately the combat looks very unfun to me.
I seem to be getting a bug where EVERYTHING looks really messed up and colorful like some kind of weird heat vision. Not sure if it's a unity thing or what but I wasn't able to get past the loading screen on the synthetik 2 demo so it feels like there may be a connection there (I have 8 GB ram and non-unity stuff works fine)… Don't see many other people with this problem and all my shit is up to date. (Could be specifically a Windows 10 + Unity + AMD issue?)
SNKRX isn't unity, right? Unity is strictly 3D visuals if I remember correctly… SNKRX naturally still works (& others).
i… dislike turn based strategies with long range weapons (guns, lasers, rockets) where their range is like one to three tiles… it's, to me, in-yo-face kind of silly.
I liked how Age of Wonders did ranged weapons (and those were just bows and arrows)
I dunno. This seems a bit too 'early' early access. Might look into it when it gets closer to full release.

I miss 3d turn based mech games like Front Mission 3 (my fav).. would love a modern remake of these.
The "dinosaurs" at 12 minutes are the same character model as what is used in the game Empyrion: Galactic Survival

Demon hell? As in hell for demons? Wouldn't that just be heaven? Just like hell is heaven to demons… You've raised some interesting theological questions with your joking comment. Like maybe existence is just existence, with angels just perceiving it as good and demons just perceiving it as bad, but really existence just IS, and the rest us just perception…whoa.
If that is the case, where did the "Swarm" that you genocided go? Is there an afterlife for demons? For angels? Or do they just reappear in their original realm like they teleported? Or again, maybe the afterlife is just like life, in that it is whatever you make of it, and heaven and hell are the same place.
You know, you really opened up some deep conversation with your theories on "Demon/Alien Hell". Didn't know you were one of the great thinkers of our time, that such ideas just appear as off-hand throw-away comments on a video game review. Truly an underappreciated philosopher!
