I'm not against repros when I can't get a super expensive Japanese game with beautiful cover artwork (e.g. Alisia Dragoon, Steel Empire…) or some custom European "reissues" of other rare games (Gleylancer, MUSHA…).

i'm sharing the video. You have a very good variety of games for the Genesis. The graphics in Atomic runner si fantastic, what a good game! did you see the new game called Paprium? About the repros, i dont have problems with them, if they're made well and if the original boxed game it is very expensive. Wow, i didnt know that existed a dungeon & dragons game for the genesis!

I actually once found a snes copy of boogerman in a car my dad bought whilst hoovering it out it was the funniest thing my 12yo self has seen on a video game, my grandad was appalled 🤣
The Japanese version of streets of rage 3 is much better, to the point that it's hard for me to choose between Bare knuckle 3 and streets of rage 2. But it's probably hard to get cartridge these days without paying a lot.
Loving vid spent many a nite as a kid on megedrive recently got a few consoles and few games but got quite afew mega carts and everdrive so I now spend a few enjoyable hrs playing games great stress reliving personally think megadrive is under estimated for me it's great affordable system

As much as I love streets of rage 2 I do think it's very overrated for me it's the worst of the three but still very good

i can still remember my dad buying me streets of rage 2 from dixons!! never heard of it before but i trusted my dads choice of game, got it home from being out all day shopping lol was hooked from that day!
ola! i had mega drive ll long time ago i sell it with all games i have to buy sega saturn 2nd hand in video game store, mega drive games i had are: rocket knights, castlevania new ge, mega games 1, men overboard, sonic 1,mega bomberman , like allways good video !!!

I can see if people who are collectors don't like reproductions because they want the real deal, but I just like playing games so I don't mind if I'm playing a reproduction. Snatcher on Sega Cd costs just as much as a new PS4 or PS5. I'd rather have a new PS5. You have a nice collection of games. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Great video Gemma, I was a Sega fan right to the end so love the Mega Drive. You have a super collection, SOR 2 was the best of the 3. Micro Machines was amazing especially 96 with the track construction.
Absolutely nothing wrong with a repro when you know it's a repro when you buy it. Especially for very high price games, personally would only buy repro versions of £100 plus titles

Loved the megadrive one of my all-time favorite consoles I've played streets of rage 1,2and 3 streets of rage 2 is My favorite I spotted one of my other All time favorite games quackshot with Donald duck and mickey mouse and loved sonic plus to many to mention or we will be here all year lol great video as ever gemma ♥️

Yes I played Street of Rage 2 all the time. One of my favourite games on the Sega Mega Drive. Have been playing it recently on The Sega Mega Drive collection on the PS4.
I was against repros but like you I have let in a couple into my collection. None on megadrive, but a couple on super Nintendo. I do want some repros though and that will be a 2022 resolve for me. Mostly Japanese megadrive titles that cost 500 and up.

My fave, the megadrive! 😍 I definitely need to add to mine, you've got some good looking games there! I couldn't live without sonic 2 and streets of rage 2 on the Megadrive. Streets of rage 2 being my fave game of all time along with the original metal gear solid
One of my favs is Rolling Thunder 2 and the amiga game Chaos Engine which was ported to mega drive loved it spent hours on them both
The SNES and Genesis versions of Aladdin were vastly different games if I'm not mistaken, however the genesis version had a DOS port

Awesome channel. Bought 2 boxed Sega Megadrive games complete with manuals from the video game shop near where I work today. I bought Alex Kidd In The Enchanted Castle, and Super Wrestle Mania. Really happy to add these titles to my Sega Mega Drive collection.
