Gotta say I am a little baffled by the stick figure model choice if it's for any other reason than ease of modeling/animating.
The backstory seems clear from the context, the names of the character classes, the narrator's dialog, etc. Clearly the game world is dying and the player is either a program or programmer trying to save it. I'm definitely here for it, though. Super interested to see the narrator come around and the world be restored as you progress.
