I wish they took the fight mechanics from chivalry 2 and used them for Mordhau…Some of fights Ive seen make me wanna look for an epy pen cause they’re having an allergic reaction to something. And I thought the twirl ballerinas of chivalry duels looking weird..Angel Squad!!!!

It's nice pc gamers shows things on pc… But on consoles (series X/PS5) the game is ugly, slow, unplayable with low frame rate

Mord looks like so much fun but my main conflicts w/ this port is either spending full price to get the peak of the experience now or wait for a sale and risk the player count being too small by that time.
I love it. They just need to add a update that fixes the sporactic freezing in-game. Often times the screen will freeze & then the game will continue 4-5 seconds later, often times with me dead at the hands of someone who’s screen didn’t freeze.

Everyone loves on chiv but personally I think chiv is very "arcade" like and chiv feels like there is way more control and skill

Do people know how to adjust the game settings to improve the ping displayed on the scoreboard? Seems like 80-90% of the lobby has 80+ ping
I'll probably get it. Its got a PvE mode i can goof around in with my friends and whenever i wanna play PvP and torture people with the Warbow I'll hop back over to Chivalry.
It'd absolute garbage. Net code is trash combat is trash. I love the customisation gut game is just a buggy mess

Level 152 on chiv and i just picked this up yesterday its a blast. Tons of customizable options.
Honestly as someone who plays on pc enjoy it on console while everyone is new before it gets pc crossplay and y’all gotta face the level 200 sweats with thousands of hours
Tbh the only reason why I want to play mordhau is because of the customisation. Chivalry devs could easily just add a lot of customisation but for some reason it’s quite basic
If chivalry 2 wasn’t on console then this would be good but making the price $40 on console is laughable. Seeing as how old the game is, I expected it to be free or at the very least 19.99. Based on reviews I’ve seen it doesn’t warrant a $40 price tag.
I have slightly more than 100 hours in Chivalry 2, so yes. I'm new compared to everyone here.
For the price? Idk. Mordhau doesn't seem to catch my attention BUT I respect if people say its better than Chivalry 2. Not a problem.
The customization looks really cool!!
However, I think I'll stick with Chivalry 2 for a while. The video definitely helped make up my mind since I was interested, but I wanted to know more. 😅

Mordhau is not worth it at that price point. Its like £/$5 on cdkeys on pc 😂 thats the real price point of the game imo. Stick to chiv 2 folks

If you don't like losing in video games, do not try this game.
If you are not willing to put minimum 20-40 game hours of self training, do not try this game.
You will lose and die thousands of times before you have a positive KD match.
and DO. NOT. KILL. THE. BARD.
If you can control your anger and have patience / an open mind willing to learn, you will flourish and thrive.
Lastly, if you do end up sticking around, be prepared to handle players with giant egos and game servers innevitably dwindling down to just the veterans.
There can be tons of enjoyment, but from someone that put in almost 2k hours in, I really don't reccomend this game.
Honestly, loving the game so far, and the freedom for loadouts and customization are dope. The combat actually feels fair, even if you get ganged up on, it doesnt feel like bullcrap. Im tired of getting jumped by some jab crouch spammer in Chivalry.
P.s. they added patch and fix immediately after the game dropped, and they seem to be moving to fix stuff and updates as need.
When the ranked mode will be added on consol ?
Damn. People really don’t like this game? I think it’s a blast. Horde mode is amazing. The combat is really good too, definitely more skill required

Chivalry 2 is fun but so is mordhau. I have them both and play them for different reasons. Mordhau has a higher skill floor than chivalry does. Chivalry usually is more relaxed then Mordhau, though most of the time playing chivalry vs Mordhau, people are more likely to be friendly on Mordhau. You have a lot more customization and rather than there being classes in Mordhau, you get to make your own.

As a huge chivalry 2 player, I wasn’t sure about getting Mordhau after what I had heard. But I took a gamble, and I’m glad I did. I can’t stop playing this game! You can’t really compare it to chivalry 2, it’s a different beast. The combat is more challenging yes, but not impossible to learn. It’s actually very satisfying once you figure it out. The customization is fantastic, and the game is hilarious. People take it a lot less serious than chivalry 2 even though it’s more difficult. There’s a lot of fun to be had; get it!
Like I said, if chivalry 2 had the cosmetic and customization options of mordauh it would be great but the more I think about it on console right now The more it sounds like a money grab for them
Its absolutely not worth it for only having a big Customization wth lack of content aswell
