There are almost 5X the amount of people who own a PS4 (117m) vs a PS5 (25m). Makes no sense to not make it for the PS4. With the f’ed up launch of the PS5, people like me are not excited about this new generation of consoles.
Maybe im getting old but gaming is becoming dead. Too expensive of a hobby for a time killer now days. Ill stick with my older gen games and get old i guess.
I knew this would come eventually for Xbox One and PS4 to become obsolete when the next generation of games come in, but literally this is ridiculous. Not everyone has money to afford the new consoles. Gaming companies have the right to choose what they want exclusive or not, but they should still consider accommodating for all players, like if they chose to release Jedi survivor on older gen consoles later in the year.
And honestly from what I’ve heard about the game with its current state. It doesn’t seem like older gen consoles couldn’t handle the game storage or performance capabilities. Maybe it wouldn’t result as well as the new gen, but it would still function.
By the way,only in post life will i be able to play games from new generation of consoles because i will never have the money to buy them in the future.
People need to stop complaining about this. Moving on is a must. Making games for PS4 as well means the same game on PS5 is gonna lack. And if you can't afford it well…. Bad luck. You can't expect devs to stick at a 10 year old console just because people own it. Its not a new thing either. I was stuck with the Xbox 360 when the Xbox ONE came out. 360 games died out then as does PS4 games now. Just suck it up and save money to buy a PS5, Series S/X, or game PC

Buy a PS5 get with the program lol I’ve been playing Jedi Survivor since it came out and it’s a outstanding game have fun ps4 owners 😂😂

This game can barley run on series X and PS5, I cant image how poorly it would run on last gen consoles!
I dont see why these game companies dont just make the game compatible for ps4, i mean whats a little bit more money in your already filled pockets.
