They have PvP so they will be using the P2W to make money. PvPers are notoriously easy to addict to paying for advantages no matter how slight. Definitely not going to be a game one plays at launch. Wait and see and watch the comments and reviews.
man kinda killed my hype with durability and cash shop stuff seems its just going to be a pay to win with the game being stupid destroying your gear to try force you to give them cash

IF the PvE is good enough, I don't mind the cash shop. However, the PvP with cash shop sounds dangerous…

What do you think of the Black Market. You buy gear there with crystals you buy with real money . In a PvP game this is a death knell. This game is as P2W as they come.

Only thing I'm wondering is if you can combine skills from different trees, or if you can only use magic with a magic weapon, melee skills with a melee weapon etc.
I can't stand games that only allow for narrow plausible, especially if the POE-like skill tree is as robust as it looks.

This now seems like a P2W Albion online. The game itself looks fun, but the P2W options and gear honing system really turns me away. I once loved playing Lost Ark, until the honing system becomes so annoying and I stopped playing afterwards. I just don't understand why honing system is always a thing in Korean MMOs.
Eh gear upgrading breaking your weapon and needing to shill to the cash shop to guard against it give me very BAD black desert vibes, not a fan.
Seems promising but some of the stuff seems somewhat P2W. Most of it just reduces grind time. Right away paying players are going to have max upgraded gear basically as they reach the end game and carry, pretending to be badasses instead of the wallet warriors they are. Then there will be the real gamers who play a lot and come up a month behind the payers, finally having very nice upgraded gear and crapping on other players. We'll see how good the game feels on release. F2P here, but may grab a battle pass at some point if I get into it.

Have you seen the number of complaints about people's credit cards being overcharged. The details are saved by them and subsequent charges were done. There were even news sites reviewers who lost between 1000 to 3000 to this scam.
Been waiting for this game for so long. But kind of put off by the pay to winelements
