Como um TIERLIST “arruinou” o modo de jogo 2v2v2v2 | LS x Twitter

by Marcos Paulo Vilela

Meu Twitter: #ls #2v2v2v2 #leagueoflegends

Still cant convince me that dropping a full champion tierlist, 150+ champions, for a casual gamemode with less than 2 weeks of non official release is such a virgin move…

I see it as morg/taric 24/7. bruh, Its unbeatable unless you have someone cheesing it. but realistically… There are better champs vs "my favorite champs" lol.

I can see why they get upset but once they play it, Like me one tricking Xin zhao… Xin SUCKS in arena. vs someone with stuns which is 75% of the roster

It's just the PBE, riot will eventually balance things out once it come to live servers

“Given the opportunity, players will optimize the fun out of a game”

The cries are stupid, but behind them there is a situation that is not bad to understand why.

this tierlist does infact, ruin a fun and simple gamemode..

The real problem with all of this is that casuals are the majority of the playerbase. If the casual audience get tired of Arena after facing the same champions over and over again, riot will think the mode will not be worth the investment and we will never see the true potential of it.

while i agree try harding in a new casual game mode is cringe, you can always just gather up your friends, or people who don't like try harding, and play together without randoms, simple

Btw dude i do understand why people rage for me is readonable but i do think the mode depends a lot on lucky to get exact perk for you champion for example mundo which is consider good in the mode but if you dont get the right 2 perk you literally playing normal mundo from the rift which is garabage i think the mode is so luck oriented which i dont like my experience got decide by pure luck i wish it remain permanent to see how it evolve but at least make that you can spend gold or even buy at least the exact perk that you need

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to complain when there are a few champs that completely destroy every other champ and are seen in most games, to me it kinda takes the creative aspect of the game away when there is always at least one person in a game who just spams the highest winrate champ and build.

tierlist is wrong about a lot of champs anyway.

The situation can very easily be fixed by making a separate queue for ranked. Why isn't riot doing this?
I can understand both casual and tryhard players so maybe just don't mix the 2 groups together?

This was always going to happen its fucking league of legends and a competitive setting where you can rank up. Its good that riot embraced the ranked setting this time around so ppl who play random shit are matched against other people that do that and ppl who want to optimize will do that. Its just so delusional to think this wouldnt happen and the mode is STILL fun against the """"meta""""

Of course tier lists will come out. People will find out champions that are OP and abuse the shit out of them. People love doing that. People will tryhard. It is what it is. A lot of the game mode's items and augments are already overtuned. Just play who you want and have fun.

People at low Elo are already starting to adapt to the "high Elo" bracket – meaning picking things like Kaisa/Vayne/Kog + Support or full Zoning Comps that have barely any counterplay. This will kill the joy for every casual player very quickly.

Another big problem with the current game mode is that the pool of viable / strong champions is too small.
Looking at LS Tierlist itself there are only 28-30 Champions that are worth using. The rest will never be picked as they are suboptimal – leading to a very repetitive meta.

This is why I understand that people are frustrated and disappointed with the current situation.
Tierlists and API Websites are making everything worse for casuals while simultaneously only benefitting the try hards and no lifers.
Which is okay in Summoners Rift Ranked – but very bad for a fun game mode with limited time that should be enjoyed by everyone.

In order for Riot to fix this mess they would have to look at LS Tierlist specifically and implement balance changes to bring B/C/D Tier Champions on a level that can compete with S – A Tier. Then Riot has to restrict the API Access further so Websites can not gather data on Winrates/Builds/Stats. This would put most people on a similar playground – resulting in a fair , fun and ultimately more healthy competetive gameplay.

In theory you should be right… in practice you're a full 100% wrong. First of all the entire playerbase, especially of this mode, is equally casual as they are tryhardy. Secondly… A lot of bad players are precisely the ones that just choose the meta picks, they are godawfull so they barely rank up if at all and just stay in low ranks with the meta picks… And a lot of the meta picks are just straight up anti-fun, regardless of wether they win or not: Taric being by far the worst offender, but any traplaying champion is just straight up unfun… It is indeed a big problem that hurts the longevity of this mode
