the dinosaurs in a fps game bit reminds me of this old fps game I used to watch my dad play from over his shoulder when I was a kid, all I remember is that you could either play as a human or raptor/t-rex and I loved it when my dad played as a dinosaur; idk if it was a specific gamemode that had the dinosaurs, or if it was the premise of it
(I ended up spending some time trying to see what game it was, it might've been the game dino d-day? I'll have to ask him at some point)

This game should not be a full price game, fuck, I can't believe I'm saying this but it should probably be a free game with optional subscription and microtransactions (I know, I hate that model too but given how long it has been around and the fact it doesn't look to be going anywhere and this game was made while that model is still "accepted" I would prefer that to this).
It feels like they just used a bunch of pre-built assets (even if they didn't, that is what it looks like) for everything but the exo suits and even them… well maybe there are just too many exo suit games out there and they are all blending together but the silhouettes are very familiar.
I might consider it for $30, ultimately that is kinda what I consider just about every pvp-centric game (yes, looking at you CoD) to be since it requires other players to have the full experience and that automatically detracts a lot from a game's value for me). On top of that, add on that generally people don't bother communicating via voice (for many good reasons) and you get a team v team game where if you are playing with randoms it is a greater than 50% chance your coordination is going to be terrible and thus the game isn't going to be fun. I don't even need to play the game to know that because ultimately it is just doing what many games have done previously but tossing in a couple spicy elements and a coat of paint over everything. When a team v team game inherently makes it hard for a single person to carry a team of randoms, that is just what you get, and that is clearly what this is.

I've heard this game is really good it just resembles so many cash grab games that it puts people off. For example as of time of writing this comment you can't buy the loot boxes they are purely earned through gameplay. Also the amount of pushing of dlc this game has done has reminded people of Evolve even when its not as bad.
Been playing this game with my friends. It's very mind-pleasing to shoot hordes of large bird ancestors.
Been trying to go to bed, had to get up to stave off abit of a panic attack, and this exactly what i needed. Thanks WPE.
