• The Final Fantasy 16 Demo is out and it is the first 2 hours of the Prologue. It was tons of fun, you can check it out yourself on PS5! We hope you enjoy the vid!

  • 10:43 This gives a rather Western saucy feel for a Japanese game…
I'm very invested to the story, though it's a bit hard to keep up with the dialogue due to unfamiliar terminology.

  • The beginning reminds me of Two Towers, the fight between Gandalf and the Balrog.

  • DAMN! that was the fucking opening!?! fuck me that was dark and hardcore, something i think was off about it though i thought the nighttime scenes were way to dark to see what was happening

  • Do you guys realize how brilliant the storytelling is?! They open on an epic Eikon fight, and despite us knowing that the betrayal and massacre of everyone Clive cares for will happening due to us seeing the trailers, when we play the Eikon fight again we have the full context that Clive is freakin’ Ifrit murdering his own little brother!

The developers were so damn careful with the promotional material that despite knowing Phoenix was going to get killed I STILL got misty eyed from what was happening and the implications for the story.

Hot DAMN CBU3, be proud of yourselves!

  • Every person in this game could be a runway model. Even the chocobo farmer.

  • I figured that the mother was going to be a problem from the first she was introduced she has that snob like attitude with her first born, and to top it all off that look she has when Clive's father said "I'm going to sleep" just spoke "Oh you'll be going to sleep alright mehehehe I'll see you dead my love".

It's just that usual power starving hungry trope with a woman who has a strong and powerful son be a chosen figure is like, but that was still outstanding I hadn't seen any trailers so I didn't get any spoilers so that was 100/100 for this game.

  • Graphics settings look medium on PS5. Wait for PC master races to run on max out.

  • Honestly, this is so disappointing. Especially from CBU3.

It's so generic. Half the time, you can't tell it's Final Fantasy. It's just Game of Thrones or Witcher with some FF creatures mixed in. And what's with the game being 75% cutscene, 20% playable cutscene (the entire Eikon section), 3% menu, and 2% boring combat system?

And what's with the tone? Why is trying to be so 'gritty' and 'mature'? Honestly, I could've never imagined the team behind XIV would drop something this mediocre.

  • Ugh Clive’s timing interrupting Joshua’s healing of the second dude would have made all the difference 🙁
